The Sweet Swirl is more than just an ice cream shop—it’s a family dream brought to life. Founded by father-daughter duo Prince and Anita Eti, our shop was built on a shared love of sweets and community. Originally from Nigeria but longtime residents of The Woodlands for over 20 years, our family wanted to create a place where people could gather, connect, and enjoy incredible desserts.
At The Sweet Swirl, we’re all about quality and creativity. Our ice cream is made in-house, featuring new flavors every month based on what our community wants. Whether it’s a giant scoop of our signature ice cream, a perfect swirl of our creamy soft serve, or warm and chewy boba in one of our delectable drinks, we’re dedicated to crafting desserts that bring people joy.
The idea behind our shop was inspired by both nostalgia and a vision for the future. Prince wanted to create a welcoming “third place”—a spot where people could gather, just like he remembered from his hometown. Anita, a graduate of The John Cooper School, grew up visiting local dessert spots with friends after school and wanted to create the next go-to hangout in The Woodlands.
What started as a franchise evolved into something deeply personal—our very own dessert haven, tailored to the heart of our community. We’re proud to support local schools and organizations through fundraisers, throw fun community events, and, of course, serve up unique flavors that keep people coming back for more.
To honor both our roots and our neighborhood, we commissioned two stunning murals—one by local Asian artist Caroline Truong and another by a talented student from The John Cooper School—both of which celebrate the vibrant culture and community that make The Woodlands special.
